With less than a week until Election Day, the race for mayor is neck and neck. According to a poll commissioned by WAMU's The Kojo Nnamdi Show and the Washington City Paper, Mayor Vincent Gray and Council member Muriel Bowser (D-Ward 4) are tied at 27 percent. The poll also includes interesting findings on whether residents believe Gray's insistence that he knew nothing of an illicit effort to help his 2010 campaign, whether residents support a new stadium for D.C. United, and where they stand on marijuana legalization. The poll was conducted by national firm Public Policy Polling, and reached 860 voters via landline phone between March 13-16. The margin of error is plus or minus 3.3 percent.
