WAMU 88.5 Volunteer Program

Since 1961, WAMU 88.5 has relied on the generous support of people like you who share a personal appreciation for public broadcasting. Volunteering not only benefits the station, but also gives volunteers the opportunity to see how public radio works first hand, use existing skills, and develop new ones.

Whether you choose to answer phones during our membership campaigns, help out around the station a few of hours a week, or assist us at a community event from time to time, there's always something to do and something new to learn. Learn more about our volunteer programs and opportunities to participate below by clicking on the name of the program.
