Frederick Bruce Thomas, an American born to former slaves, escaped racism in the South, worked his way across Europe and found freedom and prosperity as a nightclub owner in Russia's capital. But Thomas' incredible journey didn’t end there. Kojo talks with an author who researched and revived this extraordinary story, and learns about the revolutionary times that shaped Thomas' life.
