"The Taming of the Shrew" Meets The Spaghetti Western

Shakespeare's epic battle of the sexes is the story of the wooing--or corralling--of wildcat Kate by suitor Petruchio. He waxes poetic about his love: "She's rich, and she's.... rich." In the end, though, it's a rollicking love story, and in this Wild West version, there's even a "Blind Balladeer" whose original songs play off the show's themes.
