President Barack Obama called the proposed military strike in Syria a test for Congress and the world. In Washington, the Senate Foreign Relations Committee approved a resolution authorizing limited U.S. military action in Syria. But at a hearing before the House Committee, there were questions about the trustworthiness of the Syrian opposition and whether, if we decide to militarily intervene in a civil war, we are clear on how the different groups of anti-Assad forces are aligned.
