Airline passengers are beginning to feel the effects of across-the-board budget cuts known as sequestration. The FAA has ordered one-day furloughs every other week for all of its 47,000 employees, including air traffic controllers, beginning this week. On Monday, more than 1,200 flights were delayed as a result. The White House blames Republicans and botched budget negotiations.
