Israel is amassing troops and armored trucks on the border of Gaza as the escalation of fighting there enters its sixth day. Israel's cabinet authorized placing thousands of reservists on call, heightening concerns that Israel might invade the Hamas-run Palestinian enclave and possibly spark a wider conflict in the Middle East.
