Listen to Presidential Conversations with George H. W. Bush
Former Presidents discussed the historic events that defined their terms in office in Presidential Conversations on the Constitution, a series of one-hour specials distributed by NPR and produced by WHYY in Philadelphia in cooperation with the National Constitution Center. The series features one-hour interviews conducted by NPR Senior News Analyst Cokie Roberts. A companion series aired on public television stations throughout October.
On October 14th, WAMU 88.5 FM aired the one-hour conversation with former President George H. W. Bush and Cokie Roberts.
On his 18th birthday, George H.W. Bush enlisted in the armed forces and was the youngest pilot in the Navy when he received his wings. After graduating from Yale with a degree in economics, he embarked on a career in the oil industry. The George Bush Presidential Library and Museum is located in Texas.
