Chevron, Transocean Charged In Brazilian Oil Spill

Brazil filed charges Wednesday against oil companies Chevron and Transocean, and 16 of their top executives, over an offshore oil spill in November. If convicted, the executives could get up to 31 years in jail. Chevron calls the charges "outrageous."

N.C. Hungry To Cash In On 'Hunger Games'

The movie about teenagers fighting to the death in a post-apocalyptic world was filmed in North Carolina, and some enthusiastic fans have traveled to places where key scenes were filmed. One company is offering trips to those locations, including zipline tours through the forest and survival training. The movie opens Friday.

NFL Shake-Ups: 'Bounty' Suspension, Tebow Trade

The NFL came down like a ton of bricks on the New Orleans Saints, suspending head coach Sean Payton for the entire 2012 season over payments to players for injuring opponents. Also reported Thursday, quarterback phenom Tim Tebow is headed to the New York Jets from Denver, where Peyton Manning is taking his place.

Reebok Slammed For 'Cheat On Your Girlfriend' Ad

The sportswear company Reebok advised in a recent ad campaign: Cheat on your girlfriend, not on your workout. The posters were only up in Germany, but the backlash was global, with some even urging a boycott. Reebok has discontinued the ad and apologized, saying the company does not advocate "cheating ... in any way."

President Obama is on a multi-state tour to defend his administration's energy policies, answering charges by Republicans that he's responsible for rising gasoline prices.

Tebow Headlines Dominate In New York City

New York tabloids are flooded with tales of the New York Jets trading for quarterback Tim Tebow. The Daily News says the Jets "were turned down by Peyton Manning, one of the best quarterbacks ... [and] embraced by Tebow, one of the worst." Noting Tebow's public displays of faith, the New York Post declared, "Jets Prayers Answered," adding, "The Jets had to have God's quarterback."
