As President Obama prepares to deliver his annual message, members of his team are making media appearances to talk about why they think the president will be able to accomplish more this year than last. But the president faces strong headwinds, according to public opinion polling.
Only one movie in July, Transformers: Age of Extinction, has broken the 100 million mark during its opening weekend. Box office receipts all summer have proven anemic. Paul Dergarabedian, a senior media analyst with RENTRAK, talks to Audie Cornish about the box office slump.
