Congress Weighs Whether Big Banks Can Own Commercial Assets

The Senate Banking Committee is looking into whether big banks should be allowed to own key commodity businesses, ranging from warehouses that store metals to oil pipelines. Consumer advocates say the banks sometimes create bottlenecks that push up prices. The banks, not surprisingly, say that's not so.
On Friday, news site Quartz reported that Facebook fired its "news curators" and replaced them with algorithms to compile the news that ends up on Facebook's "Trending" news section. Many users took note when a fake article about Fox News anchor Megyn Kelly was trending.
