Ask pretty much any teacher, and she’ll tell you that mastering your ABCs is the foundation of a good education. And these days, reading is a huge area of focus for the D.C. Public Schools, which are in the midst of completely revamping their reading curriculum, to make sure that that foundation is a bit sturdier for District students.
