The recent attacks on U.S. embassies overseas have rattled many Washingtonians. This week we'll bring the story of those attacks closer to home with a show about diplomacy. We'll talk with foreign service officers past and present about the risks and rewards of a career in diplomacy. We'll also explore embassy real estate and the symbolism of D.C.'s ambassadorial digs. And we'll meet European diplomats who are moonlighting in the world of rock-and-roll.
