This Week On Metro Connection: Playing Games

Welcome to "Metro Connection," I'm Rebecca Sheir. And as we get started here, I want you to level with me. Did you look at your window, at some point this week, and see all that sunshine and all those people walking around and that mild spring like weather and think to yourself, you know, all I really want to do today is play hooky? You know, just go outside and play. Well, I did. In fact, here at "Metro Connection," we all did.

So in honor of the cabin fever that seems to sweep through the region this time of year, on today's show, we'll be playing games. We'll hear about a game of chicken in Virginia where politicos are the players. We'll look into a board game a Maryland woman created to teach her kids about Africa. And we'll hit the basketball court to learn about a program that connects players in D.C. with children in Guatemala.
