MS. REBECCA SHEIR
Welcome to "Metro Connection." I'm Rebecca Sheir and today is the sort of day we relish, one where we look back on some of the remarkable people and stories we've been lucky enough to share on this show. Among them, the woman who sorts and sifts through decades of artifacts for the U.S. House of Representatives and the ambitious project at George Mason University to archive accents from all over the world. We'll also meet a man who works as a town crier and we'll hear the tale of the D.C. barbers, teaching their trade to local teens and keeping them off the streets in the process.
