With one of the highest costs of living in the country, D.C. can be a hard place for an artist to get by - especially when it comes to finding affordable studio space. In this rebroadcast from our "Getting By and Getting Ahead" show, Rebecca Sheir talks with local artists at 52 O Street, a building that's been bringing artists together since the late 1970s, about how to survive as an artist without sacrificing your passion.
