Patricia Huffman lives in Northwest D.C.'s Truxton Circle.
It's our weekly trip around the region. This week, we visit Truxton Circle, where resident Patricia Huffman says the circle that gave her neighborhood its name was destroyed decades ago to make room for automobile traffic. But she says Truxton Circle's sense of community is now returning. We also visit Clinton, MD, formerly known as Surrattsville. Resident Laurie Verge says many people do not realize the city's tie to a major American historical event -- the Lincoln assassination.
