


It's probably safe to assume most politicians head into elected office hoping their legacy will be positive... or at least positive enough to earn them another term. For the D.C. Council, though, a bright and shiny legacy is looking more out of reach these days. Five of the Council's thirteen members are under ethical scrutiny, and two face criminal investigations. Rebecca Sheir heads to the Wilson Building to talk with WAMU's D.C. reporter, Patrick Madden, about the legacy of this group of elected leaders.
