This Week On Metro Connection: Underground

MS. REBECCA SHEIR

13:06:40
I'm Rebecca Sheir.

MR. ROB SACHS

13:06:42
And I'm Rob Sachs and welcome to "Metro Connection." Today's show is dedicated to the underground.

SHEIR

13:06:48
Actual underground stuff and stuff that's more on the secret side, from U.S. Army installations in Maryland to prohibition-era speakeasies in D.C. to sewers. Our own Rob Sachs here took a little tour of D.C.'s waste water treatment plant and we'll join him on that tour later in the show. Got to say it sounds yummy, Rob.

SACHS

13:07:05
Don't worry. It's not as gross as it sounds. But moving right along, we'll visit Frederick, Maryland, where archeologists are unearthing an old slave plantation and we'll head to West Baltimore to visit a stop along the Underground Railroad.
