To some, they're eyesores. To others, they're dream homes. But whatever you think of "McMansions," you're likely to see fewer of them being built in Montgomery County. That's because the County Council just passed legislation aimed at shrinking the size of new homes. We'll explore the impact of this new law on homeowners and the local economy.

Filmmaker Ari Folman was an Israeli soldier in 1982, when he witnessed a notorious war crime in Beirut, Lebanon. But for more than two decades, he struggled to remember key details about what he saw. In his newest documentary, "Waltz with Bashir," he interviews his friends and fellow soldiers who also witnessed the incident -- and explores how and why we forget. Folman joins Kojo to discuss his story and a controversial chapter in Israeli history.

Recent economic turmoil has been particularly hard on media companies. National Public Radio has weathered the storm better than most, but yesterday it announced plans to cut seven percent of its workforce -- including well-known on-air correspondents.
