It's a massive school system with 130,000 students, a mixed academic record and high expectations for success. So running the Prince George's County schools would be a big task for anyone. For the last 18 months, John Deasy has been at the helm of those schools, working to boost student achievement even in the midst of budget cuts and other challenges.
