Tonight's program was principally devoted to blues singer and entertainer, Alberta Hunter, but we had a couple of overtures first.
The first half of the program focused on Oscar "Papa" Celestin's tunes, and the second half was balanced with a remembrance of singer Chris Connor (1927-2009).
