Alan Blinder, is Co-Director of Princeton's Center for Economic Policy Studies. He served as Vice Chairman of the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System from June 1994 until January 1996. Dr. Blinder was also as a Member of President Clinton's original Council of Economic Advisers from January 1993 until June 1994.

Zanny Minton Beddoes, is "The Economist's" Economics editor. She covers the American economy, economic policy and issues surrounding globalization. She previously worked for the International Monetary Fund and has appeared on CNN, the BBC, and the Newshour with Jim Lehrer.

Arvind Subramanian, is a senior fellow at the Peterson Institute for International Economics. He also holds a joint appointment at the Center for Global Development and is a professor at Johns Hopkins University.

Barry Eichengreen, is Professor of Economics and Professor of Political Science at the University of California, Berkeley. In 1997-98 he was Senior Policy Advisor at the International Monetary Fund.

Author Jon Katz is best known for his stories about the dogs in his life and his decision to move to a farm in upstate New York. In a new book, he shares why he let another troubled dog into his life and how they both helped those in hospice care. And he once again marvels at the powerful and complex relationship between dogs and humans.
