The leaders of India and Pakistan will meet in just over a week to talk about Kashmir, the fiercely disputed territory lying between the two countries. Pakistan's foreign minister visited Washington, D.C., in June. Meanwhile, Pakistan's military ruler Gen. Pervez Musharraf dismissed that country's civilian president and assumed the post himself. A panel talks about these developments and U.S. policy toward both of these south Asian nuclear powers.
Stephen Cohen, director of the South Asia Project at the Brookings Institution

Dr. Rajesh Kadian, physician and author of Tibet, India and China
