DC Bluegrass Festival

The DC Bluegrass Festival is growing to two days and moving to a new home in Maryland! Join the festivities indoors and out of the winter weather for the Great 2012 DCBU Band Competition on Friday night. Stay to hear top national and local bluegrass performers and attend workshops all day Saturday, or just pick to your heart's content from Friday night through Sunday morning.

The Boxcars, Sierra Hull and Highway 111 will be headlining the event. Also appearing: US Navy Band Country Current, Eddie & Martha Adcock w/Tom Gray, Mama Tried, Mitch Harrell and the Virginians, Big Chimney

Microsoft Reveals New Xbox One Game System

Microsoft unveiled its new Xbox One Tuesday, displaying a device that takes new steps in game consoles' journey into becoming all-purpose entertainment and communication devices. The new console replaces the Xbox 360, which has been on the market for more than seven years.
