Comedians Of Christmas Comedy Special

The holidays are stressful, so This American Life booked a seasonal pick-me-up: an hour of humor featuring comedians Wyatt Cenac, Mike Birbiglia, Julian McCullough, Jenny Slate, Gabe Liedman and Edith Zimmerman. They share personal stories about spreading Christmas cheer in Texas, the awesomeness of Hanukkah and spending the holidays in someone else's home. The program opens with third graders telling Christmas jokes, many of which the children were happy to invent. Comedian Dave Hillends and musician Doug Gillard of the bands Guided by Voices and Nada Surf end the show with an original song.
