Feb. 18-Mar. 9: Mother Courage and Her Children
In Mother Courage and Her Children, Academy Award nominee Kathleen Turner stars as a tough as nails woman driven by necessity and survival. In a seemingly endless war, Courage must focus her efforts on keeping herself, her children and her business alive. Directed by Molly Smith, you can see this music-filled adaptation of Bertolt Brecht’s anti-war play at Arena Stage through March 9.

Feb. 19-23: DCIFF
The 16th annual DC Independent Film Festival (DCIFF) kicks off this Wednesday with The Toastmaster, the first feature film by acclaimed Spanish music video director Eric Boadella. The festival runs through Sunday, and will bring 72 feature-length and short films to the US Navy Memorial and the Goethe Institut.
