What if you meet your soul mate tomorrow? What if you sleep an extra five minutes and never cross paths? Every day is filled with thousands of possibilities, and the slightest decision or random occurrence can drastically alter your future. That’s the theme explored in IF/THEN, a new musical that’s making its world premiere at The National Theatre through December 8. The Tony Award-winning actress Idina Menzel is joined on stage by LaChanze, Anthony Rapp, James Snyder and others in this tale of love, luck, and heartache by Brian Yorkey.

Nov. 30: “Legendary: tall tales, bigger than life people and family legends”
This Saturday night at 7, the storytelling troupe Better Said Than Done will get on stage at The Auld Shebeen in Fairfax to share personal family stories intended to make audience members reflect, laugh, cry and momentarily forget about their own embarrassing or prying relatives. “Legendary: tall tales, bigger than life people and family legends” is intended for an adult audience.
