Nov. 21-Jan. 5, 2014: A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum
A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum opens tomorrow at The Shakespeare Theatre Company’s Sidney Harman Hall. Directed by Alan Paul, the Tony Award-winning musical comedy follows an ancient Roman slave named Pseudolus as he pulls out all the stops in an effort to secure his freedom. When his master confesses his love for the girl next door, Pseudolus promises to help him win her over. The only problem is the maiden in question happens to be a courtesan, and she’s already spoken for. The play will run through January 5.
