May 3: Allison Miller and Boom Tic Boom
Jazz drummer and composer Allison Miller and her band BOOM TIC BOOM are playing at the Strathmore Mansion in Rockville tonight at 7:30. The NYC-based musician has backed artists such as Ani DiFranco and Brandi Carlile, and was hailed by the L.A. Times as "one of the most promising drummers in the game." Tonight you can hear Miller and BOOM TIC BOOM play songs from their recently released album, No Morphine, No Lillies.

May 4-5: The DREAM Celebration
This weekend you can see The DREAM Celebration, a presentation by CityDance, the DC Commission on the Arts and Humanities, and renowned dancer and producer Rasta Thomas. The performance will feature acclaimed dancers from some of the country's top ballet and contemporary companies, plus appearances by members of the CityDance Conservatory. You can see the show at 7 p.m. tomorrow or 4 p.m. Sunday at Lincoln Theatre on U Street. Proceeds will benefit the CityDance DREAM Program for underserved youth.
