Apr. 12: Walking in Rhythm: A Tribute to the Life of Donald Byrd
Bebop trumpeter Donald Byrd passed away this February, but his music and legacy live on. Tonight you can visit THEARC Theater in Southeast at 7 and 9:30 for Walking in Rhythm: A Tribute to the Life of Donald Byrd. The concert will feature performances by flautist Bobbi Humphrey and local soul legends The Blackbyrds.

Apr. 13: Mission South
You can catch a concert by another local band Mission South, tomorrow night at 10:30 at Bayou in Northwest. The Bethesda-born trio's rock soul sound has been compared to that of The Black Keys and Ben Harper.

Apr. 13: Countdown to Yuri's Night: The Year of the Robot
You can head to Arlington's Artisphere tomorrow night at 8  for a 21-plus celebration of the first human spaceflight. Countdown to Yuri's Night: The Year of the Robot will include an art exhibition, moonbounce, burlesque show, and performances by Atomic Mosquitos and D.C.-based band Dance for the Dying.
