D.C. resident Lauren Shea Little is a second-year MFA candidate at the University of Maryland. In her artwork, she explores how concepts such as sound can be translated into tangible materials.
Mar. 28-Apr. 27: Midpoint
You can see contemporary artwork by two University of Maryland students who are working toward their Master of Fine Arts degrees. Midpoint features new and recent work by Lauren Frances Moore and Lauren Shea Little. Moore is fascinated by flesh as both a material and metaphor, while Little focuses on sound and vibration in her drawings, paintings, and installations. The two-person exhibit will be on view at UMD's Stamp Gallery through April 27.
