Mar. 20-Apr. 28: Artists at Hill Center Galleries
You can check out a variety of artwork at Hill Center Galleries at the Old Naval Hospital in Southeast through April 28. The collection of paintings, collage and photography highlights work by six different artists, including local photographer Gayle Krughoff, who presents flora shot against a dark backdrop, which allows the colors and contours of the petals and leaves to pop. Colin Winterbottom's photos portray depth and fine lines through macrophotography, while Mary Proctor's rural landscapes display a sense of serenity. You can see the work and chat with the artists behind it at tonight's opening reception, starting at 6.

Mar. 20: Little Green Cars
Little Green Cars brings its blend of rock, folk, pop, and Americana to DC9 in Northwest tonight. Starting at 8:30, you can hear songs from the five-some's debut album, Absolute Zero, which will be released March 26. The Dublin natives will perform live with Olivia Mancini and East Ghost.
