Mar. 9-10: Our City Film Festival
The only festival showcasing D.C.-focused films returns this weekend at the Atlas Performing Arts Center. Our City Film Festival will present 12 films in four screening blocks on Sunday, with festivities, such as a Chinese Lion Dance performance, which will precede the screening of Chinatown, a short documentary about the difficulties faced by the remaining native residents living in the now-gentrified Chinatown neighborhood. Other films run the gamut from a documentary about Metro's Red Line to Oxygen for the Ears: Living Jazz, a documentary covering the history and current state of Washington's Jazz scene.

You can head to George Mason University's Center for the Arts in Fairfax at 8 p.m. tonight for the D.C.-area debut of modern dance ensemble RIOULT.

Mar. 9: Tale of a Tiger: An Afternoon with Rachel Hynes
You can go to Theatre on the Run in Arlington at 2 p.m. tomorrow for Tale of a Tiger, a storytelling by Rachel Hynes. The imaginative original story is about a forest-dwelling girl who becomes a tiger.
