


Feb. 13-Mar. 9: Canterbury
Pointless Theatre Company is pulling the strings behind Canterbury, a fun, yet vulgar adaptation of Chaucer's The Canterbury Tales. The play features a cast of beer-swilling puppets and a live band that share tales from the Middle Ages. You can catch the show at Mead Theatre Lab at Flashpoint through March 9.
Feb. 13-27: Wytold
Speaking of strings, you can enjoy an electrifying concert at Strathmore tonight by artist in residence Wytold. The musician will perform original compositions that blend acoustic and six-string electric cellos.
Feb. 15: Sound City
Who knows more about shredding than famed musician Dave Grohl? The Foo Fighters front man tries his hand at directing in Sound City, a documentary about "rock n'roll's best kept secret," a recording studio in the San Fernando Valley where some of the 20th century's greatest albums were made. You can catch the film at West End Cinema starting this Friday.
