Jan. 30-Mar. 10: The (EXPLETIVE) with the Hat
Starting tonight you can enjoy a romantic comedy about the addictive and often painful experience of love. [Studio Theatre] (http://www.studiotheatre.org/ ) presents [The...umm...(EXPLETIVE) with the Hat] (http://www.studiotheatre.org/calendar/view.aspx?id=3525 ) by Stephen Adly Guirgis through March 10. Jackie is a newly sober parolee who reconnects with his childhood sweetheart, but struggles with recovery and trust issues after finding another man's hat in his living room. The play is raucous and profane, and if the title is any indication, you should probably hire a babysitter.

Jan. 30-Mar. 10: Anime Momotaro
For some kid-friendly theater you can head to [Imagination Stage] ( http://www.imaginationstage.org/ ) to see [Anime Momotaro] (http://www.imaginationstage.org/shows-a-tickets/shows-playing-now ), which tells the story of an elderly couple who long for a child, until one day a giant peach travels down the river and splits open to reveal its contents: A baby boy who grows up to be the strongest man in Japan. Momotaro's impressive strength comes in handy when he decides to tackle his tiny village's big problem -- a pack of ogres that have been terrorizing the town.
