Jan. 9-Feb. 1: Dominie Nash Solo Exhibit
What does the word "fiber" call to your mind? Whether you think of bran flakes, morality, or the clothes on your back, it's an element of our daily lives, and even though it's probably not what your doctor has in mind, you can get your daily dose of fiber...through art! BlackRock Center for the Arts is hosting an exhibit of fiber art by Dominie Nash through February 1. Apples, leaves and kitchenware come together in artfully stitched quilts that seek to draw a new perspective from seemingly mundane objects.
