Jan. 8-Feb. 2: Love of Nature
Starting today you can celebrate environmental beauty through art at Waverly Street Gallery in Bethesda, where Irene Tsai's latest collection of Chinese watercolor paintings, Love of Nature, will be on view through February 2. There will be a reception this Friday from 6 to 9 p.m.

Jan. 8-Feb. 2: Grid, Sequence Me
For some art inspired by architecture, you can head to Flashpoint Gallery to see Florida-based art team Joelle Dietrick and Owen Mundy's latest installation of projected animations, Grid, Sequence Me, which streams constantly changing data into the gallery, projecting phrases from housing-related websites over images of D.C. architecture. The exhibit will be up through February 2.

Jan. 9-13: The Birthday Party
Do you really know who you are? It's a scary question, but one that sometimes begs asking. Tomorrow night freshman troupe Idly Bent Theatre Company presents its first D.C. production, Harold Pinter's The Birthday Party, at The District of Columbia Arts Center.
