


Dec. 21: One Earth. One Voice.
Singer Shyla Nelson has spent the past few months travelling the world, rallying people to join her in a moment of song. She's garnered support from arts, cultural and environmental organizations for her project, "One Earth. One Voice", and now the day has arrived. Today at 5 p.m. people from all over the world will join Nelson via the smartphone app, "Sing!," and you can too, either on your phone or in person at The Old Post Office Pavilion. The event kicks off at 4:30.
Dec. 22: End of the World Celebration
If the world doesn't end today, The Folklore Society of Greater Washington will host a concert tomorrow night celebrating the Ancient Mayan prophecy. The End of the World Celebration begins at 7:30 p.m. at the Washington Ethical Society. The event highlights various cultural beliefs surrounding changing times, and will feature food and entertainment.
Dec. 22-23: Caroling in the West Building Rotunda
It's your last chance for the National Gallery of Art's Caroling in the West Building Rotunda. This weekend, you can join local choirs for free performances starting at 1:30 and 2:30 p.m.
