Dec. 18: His & Hers
There's an old Irish proverb that says a man loves his girlfriend the most, his wife the best, but his mother the longest. His & Hers is a documentary that peeks into the lives of women in Ireland's Midlands region and explores their relationships with men. From young girls proudly speaking of their daddies to old widows remembering their beloved husbands, the film pieces together first-hand stories from about 70 different women. There will be a free screening of the award-winning film tonight in the lobby of the Renaissance Hotel in Dupont Circle at 7 p.m. as part of Solas Nua's Irish Popcorn! series.

Dec. 18: Kol Dodi
You can head to the Kennedy Center's Millennium Stage tonight for a free concert by Kol Dodi, an ensemble of Israeli, Moroccan, Yemeni, and Ethiopian musicians. Israeli singer Mika Karni will lead the group as they jam out to traditional Jewish melodies, spiced up with some folk and African beats.
