Nov. 27: Lea Morris focus concert
Every day is a great day to feel fine, according to local musician Lea Morris. Morris' new CD "Promise" pays homage to the diverse musical styles and worldviews she learned from her musician parents. Her songs offer a blend of folk and jazz that you can hear for yourself tonight at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Rockville, which will host a Focus concert at 8 p.m. in celebration of the artist's new work.
Nov. 26-27: Skeleton$, Zs, Les Rhinocéros, and DJ Sean Peoples
New York-based music project Skeleton$ and noise-jazz experimental group Zs are playing tonight at U Street Music Hall starting at 7 p.m.
Nov. 27: In Free Concert with the National Symphony Orchestra
For a more traditional experience, you can hear the National Symphony Orchestra for free tonight, as organist William Neil breaks in The Kennedy Center's new Rubenstein Family Organ. The public debut of the new instrument begins at 6 p.m. at a free concert.
