Nov. 15-28: In Search of the Windhorse — Landscapes and People of Nepal
Are you itching to travel, but don't have the time or resources to do so? You can see Nepal through the eyes of photographer Alexander Vasiljev at The Watergate Gallery through November 27. In Search of the Windhorse — Landscapes and People of Nepal is a collection of photos that Vasiljev shot while traveling in Nepalese cities and rural areas. The artist will talk about the diversity of Nepalese cultures at the gallery tonight at 6:30 p.m.

Nov. 17: Afoot in Vienna
This Saturday, Bowen McCauley Dance presents Afoot in Vienna at Artisphere in Arlington. This multi-media collaboration includes music by Viennese composer Wolfgang Seier that was inspired by footage of Lucy Bowen McCauley moving through different spaces in Austria. McCauley then created choreography to accompany the score. The show starts at 8 p.m., and afterwards you can stick around for a party featuring Austrian beer, wine and food.
