Nov. 5-8: THE INTOUCHABLES 

West End Cinema is now showing THE INTOUCHABLES, a French comedy about an unlikely friendship that forms between a handicapped millionaire and his ex-con caretaker. Based on a true story, the award-winning film depicts how the two men build a relationship based on humor, honesty and trust. You can see THE INTOUCHABLES through November 8th. 

Nov. 5-23: Shalom/Salaam

Artist Tom Block has a new exhibit up at Kensington, Maryland's Foundation Gallery & Liveroom. Shalom/Salaam is an interdisciplinary project that delves into the Sufi influence on Jewish mysticism. A free opening reception will be held this Saturday from 7 to 10 p.m, and the series will be on display through November 23rd.  

Nov. 5-Jan. 6: My Fair Lady

For a musical tale of interdependency, you can head to Arena Stage to see My Fair Lady, directed by Molly Smith. In this classic story of tutelage and transformations, Professor Henry Higgins turns a foul-mouthed Cockney flower girl into a high-society lady. Eliza Doolittle and 'enry 'iggins are on stage through January 6th.
