Oct. 31-Nov. 18: Mary Rose
Once the storm passes, you can visit the Horowitz Visual and Performing Arts Center to see Rep Stage's performance of Mary Rose, the haunting, rarely produced story that became Alfred Hitchcock's obsession. Written by playwright J. M. Barrie, Mary Rose is often regarded by Barrie scholars as the sequel to Peter Pan. This lyrical story tells of a young girl who disappears, only to return home with no memory of time passed. This tale of time and lost innocence is on stage through November 18th.

Oct. 30-Nov. 4: The Hobbit
For a special treat, you can bring your little ones to the Thomas Jefferson Community Theatre in Arlington for a kid-friendly performance of The Hobbit. Based on the novel by J.R.R. Tolkien, this play by kids for kids takes audience members on an adventure through Middle Earth. Join Gandalf, Bilbo Baggins, and a host of characters and creatures through November 4th.
