(Oct. 13) Mock the Vote
If you're growing weary of all the election coverage but still have a soft spot for some political satire, you're not alone. The Sixth & I Historic Synagogue stages Mock the Vote twice Saturday night. Comedians and writers from The Colbert Report, The Onion, and a number of other television programs form a proudly politically incorrect SuperPAC.

(Oct. 11-Nov. 3) POTUS Among Us
POTUS Among Us opens today at Source in Northwest Washington. The Washington Improv Theater's quadrennially-produced examination of presidential politics promises to give you the democracy you deserve--audience members set the candidates' agendas and decide who wins.

(Oct. 11-Jan. 20) Show Your Wits
For some political satire that's a little less contemporary but still completely compelling, there's Political Wits, 100 Years Apart at the Phillips Collection in Northwest through the presidential inauguration. The exhibition features the work of artist Honore Daumier, who's best known for lampooning France's King Louis-Philippe, and Patrick Oliphant, master of the modern-day editorial cartoon.
