If you picked up some of your best dance moves in college, you’re not alone. The proof is at The Kennedy Center all weekend. This year’s National College Dance Festival brings 30 of the country’s colleges and universities together to showcase the finest in undergraduate, graduate, and faculty performance.

One of those rituals fails to go according to plan in Bachelorette, at Northwest Washington’s Studio Theatre through the first of July. Wolf Trap gets into the spirit of summer and Memorial Day with its 2012 Summer Blast Off! Sunday night. The season-opener features “The President’s Own” United States Marine Band playing a set of concert band favorites and lives up to its name with fireworks.
