(February 4) Black History Month, Family Style

(February 1-October 14) Slavery at Monticello
And for a more somber exploration of the role African-Americans have played in our nation’s history, the National Museum of African American History and Culture offers the exhibition “Slavery at Jefferson’s Monticello: Paradox of Liberty.” It’s the museum’s first exhibit devoted entirely to the slaves who worked for America’s third president.
