California Set To Take Away Boy Scouts' Tax Exemption

California is poised to strip the Boy Scouts of America of its tax-exempt status because of the organization's rules banning gay and lesbian adult leaders. The Boy Scouts recently changed its policy, allowing gay youth to be members. But state lawmakers say the new standard is even worse than the old one. Scout leaders warn the change would cause major damage to a group serving 180,000 California youth. Scott Detrow KQED
