Obama Continues To Push For Payroll Tax Extension

Again Thursday, President Obama called out House Republicans for refusing to accept a bipartisan deal to at least temporarily extend the payroll tax holiday and long-term unemployment insurance. The deal won overwhelming support in the Senate last week. Without action, taxes will go up on all working Americans in just nine days.
