Apr. 27 - May 1, 2009 on WAMU 88.5

It all started with a mortgage crisis. It cascaded into a global financial crisis. Now the Washington region is dealing with the fallout.

Beginning Monday, April 27 through May 1, 2009, WAMU 88.5, in partnership with Marketplace and WHUT Howard University Television, will explore how global trends are affecting local communities and families. We'll also examine how decisions made on Wall Street, the Capitol, and the White House will impact neighborhoods in D.C., Maryland, and Virginia in the coming months.
